A leading turnkey automation house in Pretoria is looking for a dedicated and proactive Technical Sales Engineer

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

General Project Sales and Consulting but not limited to :

Managing and interpreting customer requirements
Consulting on technical quotations
Compiling and processing of technical quotations
Working alongside a business development representative to consult on technical projects
Assist in negotiating and closing sales
Offering after sales support on technical needs on completed projects
Administering client accounts
Analysing costs and sales
Preparing cost analysis on projects
Assisting Business Development in achieving sales target
Keeping up to date with industry trends in Automation Engineering
Compiling and presenting of technical presentations and demonstrations
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product knowledge on leads and quotes
Site installation support and supervision when necessary

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in mechanical /mechatronic engineering or 10+ years experience in technical trade
2+ years’ of experience in related role as Technical Sales Engineer
Strong communication and time management skills
