Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:

Follow up on all customer collections / deliveries to a warehouse to pack / Port if packed by the client and always meet and exceed customer expectations with constant communication – Telephonic and Electronic

Registration of shipments on Shipshape and requesting for SOE details

Processing of Certificate Of Origins, EUR1, SADC and GSP certificates

Extensive knowledge and experience in SARS Customs Affairs and attending to all related queries. Must be able to work within a team and also work unsupervised

Handle all Customs, SAPS and Borders police Stops until it is Released

Prepare estimates for logistics quotes

Negotiating best possible rates for ocean/ air/ road/rail to secure the business

Control and manage companies export freight rates noting validities and updating when necessary

Produce estimates within the required time constraints, but with precision and accuracy

Candidate Requirements/ Experience:
Must have Grade 12

Certification in Customs Clearing and Forwarding -or Logistics Diploma/Degree – advantageous

Must have a minimum of 3 years clearing and forwarding customs experience

Must have sound knowledge of shipping documents and procedures required

Must have excellent computer skills – MS Office

Must have working knowledge of Compuclear

Must have good mathematical and analytical skill sets
