Main job function

Develop and execute demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.

Support Management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.

Gather updates on suppliers, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand.

Analyse sales, stock and other data statistics.

Must be able to simplify data and build relevant reports.

Use and maintain the ERP system.

Ensure all relevant reports and presentations are produced weekly, monthly and quarterly.

Identify and implement supply chain cost savings opportunities.

Ensure compliance with procedures.

Implementing efficiencies in the supply chain.

Adhoc IT/process project management.

Develop strategies to optimise stock days in the supply chain.

Work closely with suppliers to effectively balance supply and demand of stock.

Qualifications:

Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Internal Audit/Financial Accounting

Experience:

5 to 10 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role/Data analytics/reporting/

Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.

ERP system experience essential.

ERP implementation will be an advantage.

Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.

Strong analytical skills.

Advanced Excel skills.

Capability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
