  • Technical lead for the development and management of best practice consumer-facing technology for Famous Brands.
  • Technical lead for the consumer-facing technology enterprise architecture and roadmap, consumer-facing processes, services, software, data management and process analysis.
  • Input to master-data design and data management.
  • Technical business analysis for consumer-facing technology including optimisation of the consumer journey, process efficiency, integrations, data insights and reports.
  • Reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) weekly and monthly.
  • Process Improvements – Scoping / Testing / Rollouts.
  • Identify and assist in system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Functional management of the consumer-facing systems – Online ordering and delivery, loyalty, payments, CRM, digital screens, self-service terminals and more.
  • Assist the operational team with day-to-day support and troubleshooting on Brand’s systems.
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing and Operations teams in building capability.
  • Technical lead on consumer-facing technology project management.
  • Cost management – software licensing and projects.
  • Gather and document business and system requirements.
  • System configuration and testing.
  • Assist with leveraging Brand’s systems to optimize and drive best practice.
  • Process engineering & implementation.
  • Change management.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Completed Grade 12 / Matric
  • Relevant BTech / BSc / BEng Degree or similar tertiary technical qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Analysis / Technical Project Management / Solutions Architecture or similar position.
  • Deep consumer-facing IT Engineering and software knowledge and skills:
    • Micro-services & micro application architecture, APIs, web services
    • Node/Typescript/React/PHP
    • Cloud computing
    • Comprehension in app development
    • Integration Scoping, mapping & testing
  • Agile software delivery experience
  • Strong understanding of best CI/CD practices
  • Strong experience and capability with BDD, FRD, TDD documentation
  • Project Management – Prince2 or PMBOK experience
  • Enterprise architecture designing and management skills
