Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in manufacturing Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Blackheath.

Short Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to document and capture all stock movement in the warehouse, between warehouses, to clients and from Production. This will include all administrative and supportive tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing of all tax invoices for VA clients and DN for all retail, Food Services etc.
  • Processing of all COAs for clients requesting delivery.
  • Processing of trip sheets for stores to pick up stock and allocate batch numbers.
  • Processing of all issues for sample requests, donations, marketing stock etc.
  • Processing of all stock transfers received from external warehouses.
  • Processing of all stock transfers to other warehouses.
  • Processing all stock transfers for stock returns to all external warehouses.
  • Scanning of returned PODs and return notes and emailing to the relevant person.
  • Processing of all returns received from clients, used oil, CHEP pallets, packed products etc.
  • The deposit sheet is to be processed for all cash payments and sent to the relevant people.
  • Assist with walk-in clients at Blackheath and payments.
  • Assistance with stock take and SAP inventory for stock shortages.
  • Capturing rework summary and information.
  • Assist with the picking up of stock for customers.
  • Assist with general housekeeping in Blackheath.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks given by a supervisor.

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
  • Fully literate in English and Afrikaans
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
  • One to two years of warehouse experience

  • Good organisational skills
  • Good administrative skills
  • Reliable and disciplined
  • Procedural driven
