Your responsibilities

 

As a Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist, you will assist with the submission of new product applications in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.In this role, you will…

 

  • Submit responses to new product and backlog application resolution letters from SAHPRA and Sub-Saharan Africa regulatory authorities
  • Submit product variation or amendment applications in accordance with the relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Ensure approval of new product submissions and amendments
  • Be responsible for the creation, review and approval of artwork and printed packaging. Review and approval of promotional materials
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain regulatory systems/programs and tracking as required locally and by the global team
  • Support other key functions within the business (supply chain, QA, marketing etc.)

Your profile

 

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree – required
  • Registered practicing pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council / BSc degree in related field
  • 3+ years regulatory affairs experience – required
  • Proven experience working with generic products – preferred
  • Knowledge of both innovator and generic products – advantage
  • Proven experience working with artwork processes and approvals – required
  • Experience working with promotional material approvals – advantage
  • Experience with e-CTD submissions and e-submissions – required
  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude
  • Great team player
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Oral and written fluency in English
